As teachers or leaders of schools and other student groups, we are all about tests, tests and more tests!  Not much can be more satisfying than teaching a subject, testing the students and then finding out they gained the necessary knowledge!

This satisfaction doesn’t just have to do with math or history because the same can be said about hygiene and infection control lessons.  Not only will you get the satisfaction of your students gaining great knowledge, your class and school can realize better health.  By teaching your class or student body about germs, less illness and disease will be spread.

See the following Instructable for ways to teach hand washing through the Glo Germ System.  Instructable: Teach Hand Washing Through Glo Germ.  The simulation germs of Glo Germ are fluorescent particles that grow brightly under a black light.  Students love to see the germs and find the best way to eliminate them!  Use it on hands, pens, pencils or other classroom areas.

To increase the excitement for the germ lesson you should grade your students on how well they wash their hands or how well they clean up their areas.  Grading will help curtail bad hygiene habits and get them washing up more often.  Use the attached test or email us for an original copy (info@OUTFOXprevention.com).

Have you ever had an outbreak at your school or student group?  It can be costly and embarrassing.  This last year we have seen many measles outbreaks and other illnesses that have affected schools across the nation.  Trust us, the last thing you want is to have your school featured on the news or other press.

Being proactive about germs can have great benefits.  You, as the instructor, will experience better health as well as your students.  The less your students are out due to illness will help reduce the amount of make-up work you need to prepare and keep track of.

If you need more ideas or would like to consult with OUTFOX, we can give you a lot of helpful advice.  Please contact us for free materials or to purchase any hygiene kits and infection control manuals.

Hope your students pass!
