Mrs. T’s GermBlog Welcome to the GermBlog! Every month, I will be here in this little space for my fellow educators with stories, problems and solutions for keeping a germ-free (or at least an attempt at germ-free) environment in our classrooms. I’ll be sharing experiences I’ve seen work in my classroom and asking for suggestions of things that have worked in your classrooms. Together, we can strengthen our one-man army against all of those icky things that are hiding around our students!
Germs are a constant problem in a classroom. There are 20+ kids in a common space for 8 hours a day. They share crayons, pencils, chairs, tables, computers, drinking fountains and books. They have coats and backpacks and shoes. They have runny noses and colds and dirty hands. Classrooms are a great place for germs to grow! Our goal in the GermBlog is to find ways to combat some of these problems with real solutions. Classrooms may never be totally germ free, but we can definitely reduce the places germs hide!
Goodbye Germs!
